This training equips participants with practical skills in smart network management using Software-Defined Networking (SDN) through Mininet and Ryu SDN Controller.

### **Training Topics**
1. **SDN in Network Management**  
   A comprehensive introduction to SDN for managing smart network infrastructure, focusing on energy efficiency and resource optimization. Includes installation and configuration of Ryu as the SDN Controller.
2. **SDN Emulation**  
   Hands-on experience with SDN simulation using Mininet and Ryu, including network topology creation, flow policies, and performance monitoring.
3. **OpenVSwitch in SDN**  
   Overview of OpenVSwitch and its role in SDN, supporting OpenFlow protocol for efficient network management.
4. **SDN in Datacenter Multitenancy**  
   Practical understanding of SDN for managing multiple tenants in a shared physical infrastructure.
5. **SDN Network Efficiency**  
   Focus on energy efficiency in SDN networks, including the role of SDN in sustainable resource management.

### **Training Objectives**
Participants will be able to:

### **Training Method**
The training combines theory and hands-on practice with SDN case studies using Mininet, Ryu, and OpenVSwitch, including discussions on SDN challenges. Sessions will be led by Gede Indra Adi Barata, Archie Vian Nizam Efendi, and Muhammad Iqbal Rabbani.
